Utilizing NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared) sensor technology, it offers fast, stable, and accurate readings, ensuring a safer and more comfortable living environment. This device integrates seamlessly with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life mobile applications, allowing for remote monitoring, data export, and smart home automation.

Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB or Type-C cable. The battery icon on the display will indicate charging status. For continuous operation, it is recommended to keep the device plugged in.

  • Table Standing Mode: Use the built-in table bracket (Round version) or stand the device upright (Square version) on a flat surface.
  • Wall Hanging Mode: Utilize the hook hole on the back of the device to mount it on a wall.

To unlock smart features, pair your detector with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app:

6.3 CO2 Concentration Monitoring

The device provides a three-level alarm system for CO2 concentration:

When the CO2 concentration exceeds the customized safe value, the built-in siren will sound an alarm (75-85dB) and the indicator light will change color accordingly.

The device continuously monitors and displays temperature and humidity. You can switch the temperature unit between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉) via the app or by pressing the 'UP' button (Square version) or Button A (Round version).

  • Square Version: Long press the 'UP' button (marked '㊉') on the top of the detector to turn the alarm buzzer on/off. The speaker icon on the screen indicates the buzzer status.
  • Round Version: Long press Button B on the back of the detector to turn the alarm buzzer on/off. The speaker icon on the screen indicates the buzzer status.

  • If CO2 concentration reaches a warning level, automatically open a smart window or turn on a smart air purifier.

The device supports manual calibration for more accurate measurements. This process helps ensure the sensor's precision over time.

8.1 Manual Calibration Steps

  1. Ensure the device is in the берун аз давлат.

  3. The screen will display a countdown of 200 seconds, indicating entry into calibration mode.

8.2 Custom Alarm Value Setting (Square Version Only)

The square version allows you to customize the CO2 alarm threshold:

  1. Double-click the '◎' button (center button) to enter the setting mode.
  2. Use the '㊉' (UP) or '㊀' (DOWN) buttons to adjust the desired CO2 alarm value.
  3. Click the '◎' button again to confirm the setting and return to the home page.

Q: The device is not turning on.
A: Ensure the device is fully charged. Connect it to a power source using the provided charging cable and allow it to charge for some time before attempting to power it on again.
Q: The alarm buzzer is not sounding or is too loud/quiet.
A: For the Square version, long press the 'UP' button (㊉) to toggle the buzzer on/off. For the Round version, long press Button B. Check the speaker icon on the display to confirm its status.
Q: I cannot set a custom alarm value on my device.
A: Only the Square version allows manual customization of the alarm value. The Round version has a default alarm range (700-1500ppm) and requires smart scenes in the app to trigger external sirens for custom alerts.
Q: The temperature reading seems inaccurate when charging.
A: It is normal for the temperature displayed to have a deviation of 2-3℃ when the device is charging due to heat generated during the charging process. This is not a fault.
Q: Can I connect the device to Alexa or Google Assistant?
A: Currently, the GIRIER Smart WiFi CO2 Detector does not support direct integration with smart speakers like Alexa or Google Assistant.
Q: The device is not connecting to Wi-Fi.
A: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The device does not support 5GHz networks. Also, make sure the device is in pairing mode (Wi-Fi icon flashing) and your phone is connected to the same 2.4GHz network during the pairing process.
