Follow these steps to set up your GGBEE Smart Socket:

4.1. Насби барнома

  1. Download the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' app from your smartphone's app store (available for iOS 8.0+ and Android 4.1+).

  1. Plug the smart socket into a power outlet.

  3. Open the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' app on your smartphone.
  4. Tap 'Add Device' or the '+' icon to add a new device.
  5. Select 'Socket (Wi-Fi)' from the device list.
  6. Enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network name and password. (Note: The smart plug only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. Ensure your router is configured for this frequency or that your phone is connected to the 2.4 GHz band during setup).
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to complete the pairing process. The app will search for the device and add it to your account.
  8. Once pairing is complete, the indicator light on the smart plug will stop flashing and remain solid. You can then rename the device for easier identification.

Once your smart plug is paired, you can control it from anywhere using the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app. Simply open the app, select your device, and tap the power button to turn it on or off.

5.4. Power Monitoring

5.5. Family Sharing Control

Share control of your smart plug with family members. The main account holder can grant permissions to others, allowing everyone in the household to enjoy the benefits of smart home automation.

  • App Choice: While both Tuya Smart and Smart Life apps work, they offer similar functionality. Choose the one you prefer or already use for other smart devices.

If the button doesn't respond, try unplugging and re-plugging the device, then attempt the 5-second press again.
  • On/Off Time: The smart plug operates with a standard on/off response time. There is no user-adjustable setting to shorten the on/off time to fractions of a second.
