4.2 Attaching to a Mobile Phone

The scanner features a retractable back clip design for easy installation on mobile phones. It supports phones with a width between 60mm (2.36 inches) and 110mm (4.33 inches).

1. Position the scanner near the phone.
2. Stretch the scanner's clip to secure the phone.
3. Ensure the phone is firmly held by the clip.

The scanner can be paired with Android, iOS mobile phones, or PCs with Bluetooth capabilities.

1. Start the scanner. It will automatically enter Bluetooth search mode, and the blue light on the left will flash quickly.

4. Upon successful pairing, you will hear a beep, and the blue light on the left of the scanner will remain steadily on.

• If your Bluetooth device was previously connected to other barcode scanners, delete all old Bluetooth connection records from your device before connecting. For iPhone users, go to Settings > Bluetooth > MY DEVICES, click the "i" icon next to the old device, and select "Forget this Device".

Communication Mode Switching:

The default communication mode is Bluetooth HID. You can switch between Bluetooth HID, SPP, and BLE modes by scanning the corresponding QR codes in the user manual (refer to page 16 of the PDF manual for specific QR codes).

The scanner offers three scanning modes:

• Manual Trigger Mode (Default): Press the trigger button to scan a barcode. The scanner stops reading after a successful scan or when the trigger is released.

5.2 Upload Mode Setting

The scanner supports different upload modes:

• Ҳолати муқаррарӣ: Scans are uploaded directly to the connected device (phone or PC) via USB or Bluetooth. If transmission fails, data may be lost.
• Усули нигоҳдорӣ: Scans are stored internally in the scanner's 16MB memory. This mode is useful when out of Bluetooth range. The scanner beeps once for each successful scan. If memory is full, it emits three low-frequency beeps.

To switch to Storage Mode, scan the "Storage Mode" barcode (refer to page 18 of the PDF manual). To upload stored data, scan the "Data Upload" barcode (refer to page 19 of the PDF manual). Data is not automatically deleted after upload, allowing multiple uploads. To clear stored data, scan the "Clear Data" barcode (refer to page 20 of the PDF manual).

5.3 Transmission Speed Setup

Adjust the transmission speed based on your PC or phone's receiving speed. If barcodes lose characters, especially on Android phones, slow down the transmission speed. Scan the "Fast", "Medium", "Low", or "Very Low" barcodes to adjust (refer to page 17-18 of the PDF manual).

5.4 Keyboard Language Setting

Configure the scanner's keyboard language to match your device's settings for correct symbol output. Scan the appropriate language barcode for Windows, Android, or iOS systems (refer to pages 22-23 of the PDF manual).

5.5 Character Conversion

The scanner can convert English letters in barcode output to upper case, lower case, or interchange case. The default is Normal output (no change). Scan the relevant barcode to set (refer to page 27 of the PDF manual).

5.6 Prefix and Suffix

You can add up to 32 bytes of prefix and suffix to the scanned barcode data. Refer to page 46 of the PDF manual for detailed instructions and corresponding barcodes in Appendix A (pages 47-54).

  • Switch to "Normal Mode" for simultaneous scanning and uploading.

• Does scanning a product barcode automatically include the product name?
  • No, the scanner acts like a keyboard, outputting the alphanumeric characters of the barcode. Interpretation of these characters (e.g., linking to product names) depends on your database software or inventory system.
• Scanner does not read barcodes exactly?
  • Adjust the transmission speed to slow (refer to page 17 of the PDF manual).
  • If the problem continues, contact support@eyoyousa.com with a photo of the barcode and a video of the operation.
• Some barcodes cannot be read?
  • Incomplete or unclear barcodes may not be readable.
  • Some barcode types might be disabled by default. Activate the specific barcode type by scanning the relevant setting code in the user manual (refer to pages 29-43 of the PDF manual).
  • Contact Customer Service if you need assistance identifying the barcode type.
• How to remove auto-enter after every scanning?
  • Scan the "None" code on page 26 of the PDF manual.
• How to add Tab after every scanning?
  • Scan the "Add TAB" code on page 26 of the PDF manual.
