Calibrating the Finder Scope
The finder scope helps you locate objects quickly. To calibrate it:
- Point the main telescope at a distant, easily identifiable object (e.g., a tree or building during the day).
- Center the object in the main telescope's eyepiece.
- Look through the finder scope and adjust its alignment screws until the same object is centered in the finder scope's crosshairs.
Тамаркуз
Once an object is centered in your eyepiece, turn the focus knob slowly until the image is sharp and clear. Fine-tune as needed for different objects or eyepieces.

Заминӣ Viewing
The 45° erect image diagonal provides correctly oriented images, making the Travel Scope 60 excellent for daytime terrestrial observations. Use the lower power (20mm) eyepiece for a wider field of view when observing landscapes or wildlife.
астрономӣ Viewing
For stargazing, use the finder scope to locate celestial objects. Start with the 20mm eyepiece for a broad view, then switch to the 10mm eyepiece for higher magnification. The 2x Barlow lens can further increase magnification for detailed views of the Moon and planets like Saturn (rings may be just visible) and Jupiter (moons visible).
Using the Moon Filter
When observing the Moon, especially when it's bright, attach the moon filter to your eyepiece. This will reduce glare and enhance contrast, allowing you to see more surface details comfortably.
Smartphone Photography
Attach your smartphone to the eyepiece using the provided adapter. Use the Bluetooth remote control to trigger your phone's camera without touching the telescope, preventing vibrations and ensuring sharper images of celestial or terrestrial objects.
Нигоҳдорӣ
Proper care will extend the life of your telescope:
- Линзаҳои тозакунӣ: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical surfaces. Avoid touching the lens surfaces with your fingers.
- Муҳофизати чанг: Always keep the dust caps on the telescope and eyepieces when not in use. Store the telescope in its backpack to protect it from dust and moisture.
- Нигоҳдорӣ: Store the telescope in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures or high humidity.
Мушкилкушо
- Тасвири ноустувор: If the image appears shaky, ensure the tripod legs are fully extended and locked, and all screws securing the telescope to the tripod are tightened. The provided tripod is lightweight for portability; for maximum stability, consider using a more robust camera tripod if available.
- Cannot Focus: Ensure the eyepiece is fully inserted into the diagonal and secured. Turn the focus knob slowly and deliberately. If viewing terrestrial objects, ensure the erect image diagonal is correctly installed.
- Dark or Blurry Image: Check that all lens caps are removed, including the small cap on the objective lens. Ensure the correct eyepiece is used for the desired observation.
- Finder Scope Misaligned: Recalibrate the finder scope as described in the Operating section.
