If you hear no sound, it is likely due to Dolby Audio settings. Most AKIYO projectors do not support Dolby sound. Please turn off Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital Plus in the audio settings of your connected device (e.g., Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, or Streaming App).
To connect an iPhone, you can use an official Apple Lightning to HDMI Digital AV Adapter for a wired connection. For WiFi-enabled models, you can use the Screen Mirroring function by connecting both the phone and projector to the same WiFi network.
Due to HDCP copyright restrictions, streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video cannot be mirrored wirelessly from a phone. To watch these services, plug a TV Stick (Fire Stick, Roku, or Chromecast) or a laptop directly into the projector's HDMI port.
First, ensure the room is dark for the best clarity. Adjust the focus wheel manually on the projector until the center of the image is sharp. If the edges are still blurry, ensure the projector is placed horizontally and parallel to the screen, and try minimizing the use of Keystone correction.
