The NFA-T01LM Loop Extension Module operates on a DC24V power supply and utilizes an internal electrical isolation circuit to achieve real-time isolation and transmission of input and output bus signals, delivering a standard bus waveform. This module enhances the bus’s resistance to interference and helps extend the communication range. It is particularly effective in environments where external interference occurs or where longer communication distances are required.
Compliant with EN 54 Part 18 (European Standard), the unit features a discreet design suitable for modern buildings. Its plug-in assembly allows easy installation and maintenance. Fully compatible with the NFA-T04FP Intelligent Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel, it ensures seamless addressable communication without compatibility issues.

Perform the maintenance semiannually or depending on the site conditions.

Limitations of the Loop extension module

The loop extension module cannot last forever. This loop extension module contains electronic parts. Even though it is made to last for a long period of time, any of these parts could fail at any time. Therefore, test your module at least every half-year according to national codes or laws. Any loop extension module, fire alarm devices, or any other components of the system must be repaired and/or replaced immediately as they fail.
